Voter Registration Deadline: Voters must register at least 30 days prior to the election in which they wish to vote. Mail in applications must be postmarked 30 days before the election. Qualifications: To register to vote in Mississippi, an individual must meet the following qualifications:
ID Requirements: To register you must have one of the following: Provide your driver's license number and/or the last 4 digits of your SS#. If you do not provide your driver's license number or the last 4 digits of your SS#, you must send with your application: **A copy of a current and valid photo ID; or **A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows your name and address.
