Please notify the local union when you quit, are laid off, on a leave of absence, or terminated, so that you may be put on "withdrawal status."
You will not be liable for payment of dues during the months when you do not work. When you return to work notify the Local Union in order to be re-activated in a timely manner. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO NOTIFY THE OFFICE. If you do not notify the union, your dues liability for the months you are are not working will continue to accumulate and you will owe several months of dues.
It only takes a moment, so notify the union office when you stop working and notify us again when you return to work.
